As of yesterday afternoon its official, Im now on an iPhone 3Gs. So far, so good. The keyboard took a bit to get used to and Im sure the auto-correct will make me look stupid sometimes but the phone works well, I get good 3G coverage and Ive been through enough to find a few keepers (like the Wordpress app Im using for this post).

The Zune will still my man for music and podcasts though since my love for the iPhone wont out-weigh my complete hatred for iTunes. Im also hoping this app and the ability to post pics will help motivate more posts but lets not hold our breath.

A few months ago I was posting like crazy my internal debate on which cell phone to upgrade to. Since then I’ve pretty much settles on the iPhone 3Gs. For details… click on through.

Cnet has an article up comparing the Pre to the iPhone 3G (with the new OS software).  Check it out here.  Things look pretty neck and neck until you the pricing.  You can draw your own conclusions on that.

I tried to catch most of the press conference today but had to duck out for meetings.  The jist seems to be a better mapping App via Google, 3G tethering (which AT&T will likely shoot-down or charge a ton extra for), Copy and Paste (try to say that with a straight face) and still no background apps.

At South by Southwest Interactive this past week Kevin Rose from Diggnation gave out some dishy iPhone rumors on the upcoming 3rd Gen iPhone release (which looks like ONLY a software upgrade).  My contract expires in May so I’ve been keeping an eye on the Apple iPhone, Palm Pre and HTC G-series to see if it’s worth making a change.  More thinking out loud and a vid on the 3rd Gen iPhone after the break…
