Although I was a huge fan of the original series and the new movie got some good feedback this never-ending trend of recycled pop-culture is wearing on me.  Coincidentally after initially hearing of this remake I thought “Gee … when is Nightmare on Elm Street going to be redone??”.  Two hits down on Google and you find.  <grooooan>

I’ll probably see them both anyway just cuz I’m that damn curious and surround sound takes horror movies to new levels.  Trailer for Friday the 13th after the jump… to protect those that aren’t into it.
